My mom and I were in line at Burnt Crumbs a couple doors down. It was a 30 minute wait in 81° weather with little to no shade outside. So I searched for something refreshing to drink while queuing, and saw Phan55 had a few options. This is a casual counter service restaurant at the Los Olivos shopping center. Parking during lunchtime can be difficult but there's always spots. Plenty of outdoor tables on the patio, and they also have ample seating indoors as well. Their menu is a mix of "build your own" pho, "build your own" rice bowl, "build your own" noodle dish, street snacks, and other miscellaneous eats (banh mi, fried rice, salad, pad thai). They also had half a dozen milk and flavored teas. Drink prices ($5-6) were average, but boba was an extra $1. I ordered one Thai Iced Tea. The person who took my order asked if I wanted less ice so that the cup would be filled with more Thai tea, then left the counter and proceeded to make it with less ice before I could respond. Well alright then LOL. Slightly curt but in a thoughtful way. The drink was creamy and flavorful, on the more sweet side. Haven't eaten here yet, but I'm hoping to try their pho someday.

Calling Phan55 'so very good' is an understatement. My wife and I have been coming here for years, and I just realized I hadn't left a review--felt guilty about that! The food here is consistently top-notch, with amazing flavors and quality that never wavers. Recently, I was under the weather with the flu and ordered their soup--it absolutely hit the spot. They offer fantastic gluten-free and vegan options, like tofu, rice-based noodles, and veggie broth (perfect for my wife), while I lean more toward red meat and pork, and they have plenty of those options too. Conveniently located right off the 405/5 split, it's easy to get in and out. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

Hands down one of my favorite spots, the staff is great, food comes out pretty quick and best of all the portions are great! I'm a heavy guy so it's always enough for me. Even when it's busy there's always a place to sit and the feel inside or out is great! Good food and a clean place, I'll take it

This is a cool little spot with a good variety of options. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. I tried their filet mignon pho on my visit here and it was pretty good. Their banh mis also look and sound pretty good - I'd probably give one of those a try next time. A pretty nice and quiet setting to chill in too.

Went here for a casual date night that offers Asian fusion including pho, banh mi, vermicelli, fried rice and pad Thai. Prices are standard (around $15-17 for each option) but you get a lot for your bite. They use fresh ingredients and offer healthy drink options as well. We went close to closing so it wasn't too busy and we got great seats to watch the basketball game :) There is enough seating inside but lots of tables that share w other restaurants outside. We ended up ordering the following: Vermicelli: get all the toppings! It melded well w the sauce and you get different textures in each bite. Banh mi: more than enough food, was full from the other two plates so we took it home. Ordered the pork banh mi. I personally liked the bread compared to other places as it wasn't too crunchy. Otherwise it was a standard overall roll. Pho: Broth was warming and soothing on a cool night! Not too salty. Delicious!
